Sex, Medicines, Violence and Rebellion. All those were my personal low expectations of the rock rock concert that happened on 924 Gilman Avenue in Berkeley, California. Because of my lack of knowledge with attending Rock Concerts, (mind you this was my first-ever live show in general), my expectations of the live show were based off of stereotypes and television shows which i scrutinized and judged once i was in elementary school. However , my thoughts regarding the live concert, the people that I was going to face, and the place scene had been utterly wrong, and even uninformed. Instead of seeing drunk ladies take off their tight, washboard shirts and loud boys drink low-cost beer, I had developed a music revelation and experienced a very, and very very much not-anticipated, culture shock. The 924 Gilman St . Place was not because big and ostentatious as I expected. Instead of thousands of people in the crowd, there are only about 40 people. And some of the individuals were even colleagues from my personal class! Furthermore, there was simply no graffiti on the outside of the building, even though the place did include a private underground scenery. The people inside, alternatively, were covered in tattoos. At the moment, We felt insecure and that Some fit in. Was it an error to arrive? Moreover, instead of listening to 25 acts, there was only only six. I understand these details may appear inconsequential, but it affected my own experience. Actually the only unoriginal things that occurred were the following: deafening music, brain rocking, and fist water removal. The initially act, ”Into the Pit Metal Night Star, ” and their second to last song named " Metal” had a wonderful head-bobbing tempo that failed to make me wish to consider tylenol soon after. The disposition was amazingly mellow to get the energetic goers of heavy metal music.
